Digital Project Manager

Farlo is a dynamic web design and development agency specialising in websites for live events, with a strong focus on technical SEO, user experience, and conversion optimisation. As part of SINE Group, Farlo collaborates closely with SINE Digital, a leading performance marketing company.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our quickly growing Central London-based team. This role is crucial in maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring meticulous time tracking, and delivering projects that exceed client expectations. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of Jira, and the ability to manage project timelines and budgets effectively. Hybrid working is offered, with candidates expected to work at least one day a week in our newly furnished Central London office.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources using Jira and other project management tools. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the required quality standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear, consistent communication and maintaining strong relationships to foster repeat business and client satisfaction. Attending project related client meetings, and ensuring requests are logged.
  • Time Tracking and Billing: Oversee staff time tracking for clients on monthly retainers, ensuring accurate tracking of maintenance requests and that all billable work is accounted for. Instructing finance to invoice clients at different project stages.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership: Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and support team members to ensure collaborative and efficient project delivery. Address team issues and provide constructive feedback.
  • Cross Company Liaison: Communicating project progress and planning for projects between Farlo and other companies in the group. Consolidating time tracking and costs for cross-company billing.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues, communicating effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to expand service offerings to existing clients, contributing to business growth.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance project outcomes and maintain the company’s competitive edge.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Proven experience in digital project management, particularly within web development, with a strong understanding of Jira, and a good understanding of Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Client Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects, with a keen eye on time tracking and ensuring all work is billed appropriately.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate issues and implement effective solutions proactively.

 

DESIRABLE

  • Technical Acumen: Experience with CMS platforms (preferably WordPress) and basic project management software. Familiarity with technical SEO and core web vitals optimisation is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working with clients in the live events, theatre, and ticketing industries.
  • SaaS Experience: Experience working on internal SaaS projects between multidisciplinary teams.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Scrum or Kanban frameworks, and Agile project management methodologies.
  • E-commerce Platforms: Familiarity with WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce.
  • Analytics Tools: Understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other web analytics tools.
  • Design and Development Tools: Familiarity with design software like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and code versioning tools such as Git.
